By annotating my article, I learned that many teenagers actually don't exercise that much and because of this many teens are unhealthy. Doctors used to think that teenagers had way more exercise than they actually do, from gym or everyday life. They made an experiment to test it, and turns out teenagers are only active for 23 minutes while at school. Teenagers spend about 40% of their time at school, but they dont exercise as much as anticipated by doctors and experts.
I think that this is helpful information because I know many teenagers who don't exercise at all, and this gives me more motivation to exercise every day even though I usually do. I'm more health conscious than i used to be but sometimes I'm lazy and don't want to exercise, but this helped me realize the effects it can have on me in the long run, and now when i don't want to exercise I'll think about this article and get up no matter how lazy I am feeling.
